Chicago Rush team comes under the Central Division team of the American Conference. The team was established in the year 2001 as an extension team. Chicago Rush was established in Rosemont, a village in cook county of Illinois located to the northwest Chicago. It is very close to O’Hare International Airport. The mascot of this team is a construction worker. Rosemont Horizon is the place where the Chicago Rush team play the home games currently known as Allstate Arena. This is the original venue where one of the pilot team amongst the 4 teams started their play. The place was earlier used by Chicago Bruisers of the original Arena Football League Team. The co-owner of Chicago Rush team is Mike Ditka.

Till date, the team has made just a single appearance in the Arena Bowl. In the inaugural year, the team won in the first ever playoff game. They won this game against Orlando Predators by an impressive score of 41-26. However, they ultimately lost it to the champion team Grand Rapids Rampage during the Arena Bowl XV by a margin of 53-21. The year 2002 witnessed Chicago Rush winning the Central Division by beating Dallas Desperados with 60-47 score. They eventually lost in the semifinals to the Arizona Rattlers with a poor score of 46-35. The year 2003 saw Chicago rush appearing in the regular season of 500 games. In the first round itself Chicago Rush lost to New York Dragons with 48-45. Chicago Rush won the Central Division in the year 2004 with a record of 11-5.
