Colorado Crush comes under the American Conference’s Central Division Team of Arena Football League. It began in the year 2003 as an extension team. Colorado Crush team was established in the city of Denver in Colorado. The mascot of Colorado Crush is a bull termed as “Crusher”. It plays at the Pepsi Center, a home ground for Colorado Mammoth of National Lacrosse’s League, Denver Nugget of NBA (Basketball) and Colorado Avalanche of the National Hockey league. The inaugural season of Colorado Crush was awful with a 2-14 finish. But crush soon rebounded to an 11-5 win in the second season and achieved playoffs during the 2nd year.
Performance Analysis:
Colorado Crush won the Arena Bowl XIX on 12th June 2005, at Las Vegas at the Thomas and Mack Center. It defeated the Georgia Force with a score of 51-48 which was in the 3rd year from the establishment of crush. The fourth year was equally progressive for the Colorado Crush. They ended the play with an impressive 11-5 while competing for AC Central title which was the 2nd time in the course. However, in the divisional rounds, Crush witnessed a loss while competing against the Chicago Rush with the end score of 63-46. 6th Feb 2004 was the first week contest of Colorado Crush against the Gladiators, a Las Vegan team. Till that time, the Crush was looking for their first victory at home. In the last 12 seconds of play, Colorado crush won with a margin of 43-42 which was their first victory in their home ground.
